Top Ten Tuesday [29]

If you are fond of lists, especially Top 10 lists, this feature is the one to go with! Every week, the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish post a topic of their choice. Participating bloggers are asked to list their top 10's. I like to participate whenever I can. I love this idea, and often go a little crazy with adding 15, even 20 in my posts. Hehe!

Top Ten Books: I'd Quickly Save If My House Was Going to Be Abducted by Aliens
(or any other natural disaster... you get the drift)
I'm taking the cowards approach this week! These questions always make me nervous for some reason. I can't say for sure what I would do if I was faced with this situation. I may say one thing, and then do something completely different. So, the only way I can answer this week is to say...

I would go for the books that mean the most to me. I have books from my childhood, from my late grandmother, from family and friends who are no longer here, etc. Those mean A LOT to me, and I know I would make an effort to save them.

Also, books that are signed personally to me. The ones that are signed are nice, but I'd love to save the personal ones, haha!

Then, of course I'd grab up all of my Twilight Saga books. I have different collections of these that I have placed in a safe area. I know if something happened I'd be able to lug them all out in one grab.

There you have it! What books would you save if little green men showed up at your house?

P.s. I'd totally be okay if the alien was Daemon from Obsidian, by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

  1. SAVE EDWARD!! I love it! I wouldn't want anything to happen to him either. Heaven forbid! I'd grab my kindle. I wouldn't have time to grab books in a natural disaster, but I would totally grab my kindle. I'd need it to keep me company while I was losing all my possessions.

  2. I literally LOL'd at SAVE EDWARD!!

I picked a few of my older favorites too - In fact? I actually have four of the books on my list stuck in my "Take in emergency" fireproof safe! (Yes, I'm overly prepared.)

  3. I'm sure Edward will be saved by many, I like that you included those books that meant a lot to you. That's the way I went as well. kaye—the road goes ever ever on
