Top Ten [35]: Book's 'After' Twilight

If you are fond of lists, especially Top 10 lists, this feature is the one to go with! Every week, the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish post a topic of their choice. Participating bloggers are asked to list their top 10's. I like to participate whenever I can. I love this idea, and often go a little crazy with adding 15, even 20 in my posts. Hehe!

This week's topic is: Top Ten Books For People Who Like X Book: I decided to make my list for after you've read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. After I finished the Saga, I looked all over for books that weren't necessarily similar, but at least they hooked me kind of like Twilight did.

In lieu of last week's S.O.S. post, I'm keeping the Twilight theme going... so if you don't like it, you may/ may not like this list.

Some of these may seem a little out there, but as a big Twilight fan I can say I love all of these!! I know The Host would have been an obvious choice, so I left it out.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready, Wings by Aprilynne Pike, Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, Matched by Ally Condie, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, Incarnate by Jodi Meadows, The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, Unearthly by Cynthia Hand, Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, Die For Me by Amy Plum, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, Hourglass by Myra McEntire, Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini

  3. I like the Twilight saga when I read it back then, but I think I kind of outgrew it after reading other books that I thought did better than it, I still adore it but not as much as the ones on your list like the Iron King, Unearthly and Shatter Me.

    Great list! :)
