Today's recommendation is: Bon Iver by Bon Iver. Released on June 21, 2011.
I'd heard of the name Bon Iver, but didn't pay it much attention until the song 'Rosyln' appeared on the New Moon soundtrack. After that, I went in search of Bon Iver's music and fell in love. His music has the power to cut me in half with the lyrics, and with his tone of voice. His lyrics are sometimes barely legible, but the approach and heart of the delivery are simply breathtaking.
