The Elite v. The Selection [Cover War]

Okie dokie, the cover for Kiera Cass's The Elite is now out in the wild. At first, I found myself not really liking it; however, it HAS grown on me. Now, I can't decide if I prefer it to The Selection.

You tell me. Which one do YOU like better?

What I like most about the cover for The Selection is the color. There's something about that color blue that is both beautiful and creepy. It's cold, right?!

At first, I didn't like the color of The Elite. That reddish/orange wasn't doing it for me. The more I looked at it the prettier it became. It has the opposite effect on me. The red is creepy, yet instead of feeling cold--- I'm now feeling burned? Hmm.

Which cover wins this war?

I say it's 50/50.

I'm having similar thoughts to you; blue > red but the heat is exciting and maybe hints at a more actiony-story?

I still prefer the Selection, but your right, The Elite is growing on me the more I look at it. And at least it follows the design - you can tell they are a series. :D
