"I love you. It's a poor excuse for what I'm doing, but it's still true." Edward Cullen, Twilight, p. 366
Twilight Thursday is a feature I created to share my love of all things Twilight. I'm a huge fan of the books and movies, so every Twilight related topic I have to talk about will fall under this feature. Even though I vowed to never write a review of these books, I'm not opposed to sharing my opinions or defending the franchise I love. For any questions, comments, etc., about this feature or Twilight, feel free to leave a comment or email. I'm up for any/all Twi-Convos! This feature is not likely to be weekly.
Disclaimer: This feature is directed at Twilight fans. Whether you're a fan of the books and movies; or just the books; or just the movies... Twilight Thursday is a place for friendly conversation. Me, being such a big Twi-Hard, will be greatly offended if anyone leaves negative and hurtful comments in regards to any part of the Twilight franchise. Please be nice! Also, all posts will most likely contain spoilers. Please do not read anything written under the Twilight Thursday feature if you do not want anything spoiled. You've been warned
Long time since I've posted, and for that I apologize! A LOT has been happening in the world of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Pt. 2, but I'm only going to post about the final poster that dropped on Tuesday. I'm still waiting on a couple of other things to be confirmed before I post them.
So, if you were hanging around Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere else online on Monday, you probably saw a bunch of posts/Tweets about the final Breaking Dawn - Pt. 2 poster being revealed. Across all of the Twilight fan-pages one piece [at a time] of the poster was unveiled. You can see all of those here: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 / 6 <- 5 & 6 are the same picture. They were posted on two separate pages.
Fan reactions to the VERY LAST Twilight poster EVER have been mixed. Some people love it, me included, yet others are upset with Jacob not being in canon form according to Breaking Dawn - pt. 2. I have to admit I thought Jacob would be pictured in wolf form, however, true to the franchise posters, it would have been a bigger shock not to see Taylor Lautner on the poster.
Let's face it, Lautner is a very handsome boy, and his face sales! Ever since New Moon, all of the posters have since featured Edward, Bella, and Jacob. It makes perfect sense that this final poster would feature the trio upfront.
One other complaint is the absence of Renesmee. Fans, me included, thought and hoped she would be featured on the front. Oh well, eh? If you'd like to see Renesmee on the front check out this fan-made poster HERE by the fansite Nessie Mackenzie. It's really good!
What do you think of this final poster? If you don't like it, just take a hint from Nessie Mackenzie and make your own poster!
