Woodley in final talks for 'Divergent' movie role


Hey, I just saw this and thought it was interesting! It seems like Shailene Woodley is in final talks for the upcoming Divergent movie.

I can admit I never gave it much thought who should play Tris, but after seeing Woodley in The Descendants I'm TOTALLY okay with her in Divergent. She may not have had action sequences in The Descendants, but I'm willing to bet she'll handle the role with more than enough success.

The folks over at Hollywood Crush agree with me:
Though Shailene was not among our casting picks for Tris, we can definitely envision her jumping from a speeding locomotive (even if she's not a petite blonde). And after a star-making turn in "The Descendants," we more than happy to vouch for her acting chops.
